Arafa Holdings was founded over 100 years ago in 1907. It’s origins were in textiles and it developed its integration into garment manufacturing, menswear retailing and menswear wholesale distribution.
Arafa Holdings supplies high quality menswear fabrics and tailored products, not only to it’s own brands and retail outlets, but also to prestigious brand houses and high street retailers throughout the world.
In November 2006 Arafa Holding’s floated 32% of it’s shares on the Egyptian stock Exchange to raise capital for worldwide strategic acquisitions within the branding menswear sector.
As part of this strategy we have acquired a major shareholding in the BMB Group in the UK, have purchased the pan-European Melka brand and have acquired the brand businesses of John Langford and Co and now 100% of the shares in SRG Retail.
